Mediation Training

Ms. Curtis has trained mediators throughout California and the U.S. and internationally in places as far-flung as Bhutan. For many years she served on the faculty of the bi-annual International Summer School for Business Mediation in Admont, Austria. Since 2013, she has co-taught Mediating Disputes for Harvard Law School's Program on Negotiation. 

Dana Curtis is a nationally recognized trainer and consultant in the field of appellate mediation. She has trained  mediators for appellate courts in California's First, Second and Third Appellat Districts, as well as in Hawaii, Nevada, Minnesota, Arizona and Washington, D.C.  She has presented  programs and workshops on appellate mediation to bar associations and organizations, including the American Academy of Appellate Lawyers and the California Academy of Appellate Lawyers.

In 2008, Ms. Curtis founded Elder Mediation Group to provide mediation training and conflict services that serve older adults and adult families in trust and estate and eldercare disputes.
