Course Content & Objectives
Between 2000 and 2004, Fred Luskin, Dana Curtis and Steve Neustadter presented groundbreaking experiential forgiveness workshops for lawyers and mediators. On the occasion of the tenth anniversary of their collaboration, Dana and Fred will lead a day-long retreat for previous participants who want to take their forgiveness studies to the next level – and for first-time participants who want to learn more about forgiveness.

Frederic Luskin, Ph.D., is Senior Consultant in Health Promotion at Stanford University and Director of the Stanford Forgiveness Project, an ongoing series of research projects that investigate the effectiveness of forgiveness methods he has developed over nearly fifteen years. The Forgiveness Project has successfully explored forgiveness therapy with people who suffered from the violence in Northern Ireland and Sierra Leone, as well as the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center. Dr. Luskin’s work has been successfully applied and researched in corporate, medical, legal and religious settings, as well.
Dr. Luskin is the best selling author of three books: Forgive for Good, a study from the frontiers of psychology and medicine offering new insight into the healing powers and medical benefits of forgiveness; Forgive for Love, which applies his forgiveness to relationships; and Stress Free for Good, which expounds his ten scientifically proven life skills for health and happiness. Dr. Luskin presents lectures, workshops, seminars and trainings on the importance, health benefits and training of forgiveness, stress management and emotional competence throughout the United States.
Dr. Luskin holds a Ph.D. in Counseling and Health Psychology from Stanford University.
